The Punjab government has announced that it will open all public and private schools starting September 15th. Provincial Education Minister Murad Raas posted the news on Twitter.
The minister noted that the date is provisional and the final decision will depend on the COVID-19 situation in Punjab. He said the government has completed the SOPs and will be forwarded to those affected.

SOPs for Opening of Schools
The provincial government completed the SOPs on Tuesday, some of which are listed below:
As part of the SOPs, the school administrations check the temperature of each student and employee before entering the school premises.
The schools ensure the availability of hand disinfectants for all students and employees.
All types of functions, ceremonies and breaks are also prohibited within the SOPs.
Each class will not accommodate more than 20 students, while only 2 students can share a desk.
Schools that cannot implement the SOPs are allowed to work in two shifts to ensure student safety.

ایس او پیز کے تحت ، اسکول انتظامیہ ہر طالب علم اور عملے کے ممبر کو اسکول کے احاطے میں داخل ہونے کی اجازت سے قبل درجہ حرارت کی جانچ کرے گی۔
اسکول تمام طلباء اور عملے کے لئے ہینڈ سینیٹائزر کی دستیابی کو یقینی بنائیں گے۔
ایس او پیز کے تحت بھی ہر قسم کے افعال ، تقریبات ، اور وقفوں پر پابندی ہوگی۔
ہر کلاس 20 سے زیادہ طلباء کی میزبانی نہیں کرے گا ، جبکہ صرف 2 طلباء کو ڈیسک شیئر کرنے کی اجازت ہوگی۔
جو اسکول ایس او پیز کو نافذ نہیں کرسکتے ہیں ان کو دو شفٹوں میں چلانے کی اجازت ہوگی تاکہ طلبہ کی حفاظت کو یقینی بنایا جاسکے۔
