The Sindh government has banned Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) staff, examiners, supervisors, teachers and students from bringing cell phones into exam centers to prevent question paper leakage.
This is what Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah’s advisor to universities and bodies, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, said in a statement on Tuesday.
“Nobody is allowed to use a mobile phone in an examination center. Bringing and using cell phones and internet devices will be completely prohibited. Board members, supervisors, external and internal auditors and students are not allowed to use cell phones. “
Khuhro instructed that each center administration should look for board staff and students before starting the paper.
If a mobile phone is found inside the center, it will be confiscated,” he added.
He said the leak is being investigated and those responsible will be entrusted with the task. Administration and police should strictly enforce Section 144 within the boundaries of the exam centers, he instructed.
He said that the copying culture must be stopped and that the use of improper means in audits must be abolished at all costs.

کسی کو بھی کسی مراکز امتحانات میں موبائل فون استعمال کرنے کی اجازت نہیں ہوگی۔ موبائل فون اور انٹرنیٹ آلات لانے اور استعمال کرنے پر مکمل پابندی ہوگی۔ بورڈ کے عملے ، انجیگلیٹرز ، بیرونی اور داخلی معائنہ کاروں اور طلبا کو موبائل فون استعمال کرنے کی اجازت نہیں ہوگی۔
کھوڑو نے ہدایت دی کہ ہر سنٹر انتظامیہ کوغذات کے آغاز سے قبل بورڈ کے عملے اور طلباء کی تلاشی لینی چاہئے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا ، “اگر مرکز کے اندر کوئی موبائل فون ملا تو اسے ضبط کرلیا جائے گا”۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اس لیک کی تحقیقات کی جارہی ہیں ، اور ذمہ داروں کو بھی اس کام پر لیا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے ہدایت کی کہ انتظامیہ اور پولیس امتحان مراکز کی حدود میں دفعہ 144 کو سختی سے نافذ کریں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ کاپی کلچر کی حوصلہ شکنی ہونی چاہئے اور امتحانات میں غیر منصفانہ ذرائع کے استعمال کو کسی بھی حالت میں ختم کرنا ہوگا۔
