A letter from the chairs of the education committees in Sindh said that this year, due to a lack of funds, it will be difficult to hold SSC and Intermediate exams.
According to the letter, the Sindh government had to provide a grant of over Rs. 3 billion to the boards of directors that were not granted and consequently employee salaries are pending.
It will be a difficult task to conduct audits this year if the grant is not granted immediately, the letter added.
The chairman of the Sukkur board complained that if the provincial government does not issue the grant, the committees must “conduct examinations by begging”.
Similarly, the chairman of the Hyderabad board of directors said the teachers are stepping down from work for non-payment.
The chief executives claim to have contacted the government several times, but the government has not yet addressed their complaints.

مراسلہ کے مطابق حکومت سندھ کو پانچ لاکھ روپے سے زائد کی گرانٹ فراہم کرنا تھی۔ بورڈوں کو 3 ارب ، جو منظور نہیں کیا گیا ، اور اس کے نتیجے میں ملازمین کی تنخواہیں زیر التوا ہیں۔
خط میں مزید کہا گیا ہے کہ اگر گرانٹ فوری طور پر نہ دی گئی تو اس سال آڈٹ کرنا مشکل کام ہوگا۔
سکھر بورڈ کے چیئرپرسن نے افسوس کا اظہار کیا کہ اگر صوبائی حکومت گرانٹ جاری نہیں کرتی ہے تو بورڈ کو “بھیک مانگ کر امتحانات دینے ہوں گے
اسی طرح ، حیدرآباد بورڈ کے چیئرپرسن نے کہا کہ اساتذہ ادائیگی نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے کام سے پیچھے ہٹ رہے ہیں۔
