Saudi Arabia Threatens to Halt PIA Flights Over Unpaid Dues

The Riyadh Airport Authority (RAA) has issued a final warning to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) for its failure to pay outstanding dues. PIA has been given until July 15 to settle an amount of 8.2 million riyals.

In a significant development, the RAA has cautioned PIA that its winter flight schedule may be adversely affected if the outstanding amount is not paid by the specified deadline. Additionally, PIA has received similar warnings regarding non-payment of liabilities from the Jeddah Airport.

Acknowledging the ongoing financial challenges faced by PIA, the RAA has issued a reminder regarding the unsettled dues. PIA has assured that it is actively working towards making the payment and aims to resolve the matter promptly.
