The Corona Relief Tiger Force (CRTF) has reportedly been breached due to the personal information being shared by thousands of volunteers, including their CNIC and phone numbers.
The data breach was first reported on Sunday.
Zaki Khalid, a cyber analyst, tweeted, “PDF files and personal information images from thousands of Corona Relief Tiger Force volunteers, including CNICs, cell phone numbers, etc., are casually and illegally shared among various unofficial WhatsApp groups. The leaked data contains information about people who have registered from the districts of Kasur, Khushab, Pasrur, Chunian and Pattoki in Punjab.
The files shared on WhatsApp contain a signed notice from Deputy Commissioner Pasrur, saying: “The following members of Tiger Force remain available in the Utility Store, which is mentioned against their name.”
The information includes the names of the people, their ID card numbers, telephone numbers, age, occupation and other such information. So far, the government has refused to say whether the documents in question are legitimate or not.
District officials have been warned not to disclose such sensitive information, sources said. When asked about the source of the data, the people who shared these files said they received it from other WhatsApp groups.

لیک ہونے والے اعداد و شمار میں ان لوگوں سے متعلق معلومات شامل ہیں جنہوں نے پنجاب کے قصور ، خوشاب ، پسرور ، چونیاں اور پتوکی اضلاع سے ریجسٹریشن کرائی۔
واٹس ایپ پر شیئر کی جانے والی فائلوں میں اسسٹنٹ کمشنر پسرور کے ذریعہ جاری کردہ ایک دستخط شدہ نوٹیفکیشن بھی شامل ہے ، جس میں کہا گیا ہے کہ “ٹائگر فورس کے درج ذیل ممبران اپنے ناموں کے خلاف ذکر کردہ یوٹیلٹی اسٹور پر دستیاب رہیں گے۔
