Previously, Netflix only permitted transfers to newly created accounts. However, with this new feature, users now have the ability to transfer their data back to their inactive or existing accounts, making the process much simpler.

The profile transfer tool proves to be especially helpful for users as Netflix becomes more stringent with its password-sharing policies. Initially launched as a test last year, this feature has now been expanded to accommodate a wider audience.
To transfer a profile, users simply need to enter the associated email and password. By doing so, they can save their watch history, recommendations, games, and My List, ensuring a seamless transition to their desired account.
