The National Command and Operation Centre NCOC has held a meeting and discussed the current situation of the infectious disease of the COVID-19 across the country. The NCOC also discussed to impose the complete lockdown in the country or not. However, after a long discussion, the NCOC decided not to impose the complete lockdown in the country. NCOC also directed to continue the facemask campaign across the country.
On the other side, the Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah asked the Federal Government of Pakistan to impose the complete lockdown in the country to curb the increase of the COVID -19 cases in the third wave. According to the official statement of CM Sindh.
“Do a lockdown or don’t do it, smart lockdown is nothing,”

دوسری طرف ، وزیر اعلی سندھ ، مراد علی شاہ نے وفاقی حکومت پاکستان سے تیسری لہر میں کورونا کے معاملات میں اضافے کو روکنے کے لئے ملک میں مکمل لاک ڈاؤن نافذ کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا۔ وزیراعلیٰ سندھ کے سرکاری بیان کے مطابق۔
“لاک ڈاؤن کریں یا نہ کریں ، اسمارٹ لاک ڈاؤن کچھ بھی نہیں ہے ،”
