Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he cannot afford a complete lockdown and will continue to do business on a limited scale.
Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of the National Coordinating Committee for Covid 19 to discuss in detail the current situation of Corona in the country.
The Prime Minister attended the meeting via Bani Gala video link and interacted with the Chief Ministers online. The Prime Minister directed strict implementation of SOPs across the country and decided to launch a nationwide campaign for the use of masks.
The Prime Minister said that the administrative machinery should be mobilized to implement the SOPs. Successfully confronting the first wave with strategy, time demands the nation to show responsibility once again.
The meeting was also briefed on the ongoing vaccination process and procurement across the country. The Prime Minister directed that merit and transparency be ensured in the vaccination process. The meeting also reviewed the option of reducing inter-provincial transport and ratified the decision to immediately ban all indoor activities across the country. Restrictions will apply to districts and cities with more than 8% positive cases.

وزیراعظم عمران خان کی زیر صدارت قومی رابطہ کمیٹی برائے کورونا کا اجلاس ہوا جس میں ملک میں کورونہ کی موجودہ صورتحال پر تفصیل سے تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔
وزیر اعظم نے بنی گالہ ویڈیو لنک کے توسط سے اجلاس میں شرکت کی اور وزرائے اعلیٰ سے آن لائن بات چیت کی۔ وزیر اعظم نے ملک بھر میں ایس او پیز پر سختی سے عمل درآمد کی ہدایت کی اور ماسک کے استعمال کے لئے ملک گیر مہم چلانے کا فیصلہ کیا۔
وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ ایس او پیز کو نافذ کرنے کے لئے انتظامی مشینری کو متحرک کیا جائے۔
کامیابی کے ساتھ حکمت عملی کے ساتھ پہلی لہر کا مقابلہ کرتے ہوئے ، وقت قوم سے ایک بار پھر ذمہ داری کا مظاہرہ کرنے کا مطالبہ کرتا ہے۔
اجلاس کو ملک بھر میں ویکسینیشن کے جاری عمل اور خریداری کے بارے میں بھی بتایا گیا۔ وزیر اعظم نے ہدایت کی کہ ویکسی نیشن کے عمل میں میرٹ اور شفافیت کو یقینی بنایا جائے۔
اجلاس میں بین الصوبائی نقل و حمل کو کم کرنے کے آپشن کا بھی جائزہ لیا گیا اور ملک بھر میں تمام داخلی سرگرمیوں پر فوری طور پر پابندی کے فیصلے کی توثیق کی گئی۔ پابندیوں کا اطلاق 8 فیصد سے زیادہ مثبت معاملات والے اضلاع اور شہروں پر ہوگا۔
