Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced the opening of a 3G and 4G facility in South Waziristan. He announced this when he spoke ahead of a ceremony today in Wana about the distribution of checks among tribal peoples under the Kamyab Jawan program.
He said opening 3G and 4G would make the youth easier. He added that internet services have been shut down because of terrorism in these areas, adding that the armed forces feared that the terrorists could have used these technologies to communicate.
He said the armed forces have now secured internet services and we have a mechanism to monitor all activity. After consultations with the Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, and the ISI Chief, Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed, it was decided to set up internet services to make it easier for residents, especially students, to access online courses.
He also said that uplifting the poor sections of society and backward areas, including tribal areas, was the government’s priority.
He placed particular emphasis on the education sector and the provision of livelihoods for the people in tribal areas. He said schools, colleges, universities, and technical institutes will also be set up in the tribal districts in addition to providing scholarships to youth.
Imran Khan said the Kamyab Jawan program loans are just the beginning and will continue to grow in scope in the coming days. He said more funds will be poured into the program starting next year so that more credit can be given to the people.
The Prime Minister said that the Ehsaas program also supports the tribal people. He said that women in the region would also receive livestock under this program.
Khan said road infrastructure is also being built so farmers can easily bring their produce to market. Speaking of the area’s potential for olive oil production, he said massive plantation will be started in the tribal areas starting next month.
He said this project will improve people’s income levels and they will look for jobs in other cities. The Prime Minister said that every family in the tribal districts will be given a health insurance card under which they can receive medical treatment worth seven hundred thousand rupees a year.

انہوں نے کہا کہ اب افواج نے انٹرنیٹ خدمات حاصل کرلی ہیں ، اور ہمارے پاس تمام سرگرمیوں کی نگرانی کا طریقہ کار موجود ہے۔ وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ آرمی چیف ، جنرل قمر جاوید باجوہ ، اور آئی ایس آئی چیف ، لیفٹیننٹ جنرل فیض حمید سے مشاورت کے بعد ، باشندوں خصوصا طلباء کی سہولت کے لئے انٹرنیٹ خدمات شروع کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے ، کیونکہ بیشتر تعلیمی اداروں نے آن لائن کلاسز کا آغاز کیا تھا۔
عمران خان نے کہا کہ کمیاب جوان پروگرام کے تحت قرضے صرف ایک شروعات ہیں ، اور آنے والے دنوں میں اس کے دائرہ کار میں مزید وسعت پیدا ہوگی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اگلے سال سے اس پروگرام میں مزید فنڈز ڈالے جائیں گے تاکہ لوگوں کو مزید قرضے دیئے جاسکیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ قبائلی عوام نے ملک کے لئے بے پناہ قربانیاں دی ہیں اور صرف یہی وقت ثابت ہوگا کہ قبائلی اضلاع کو خیبر پختونخوا میں ضم کرنے کا فیصلہ سب سے اچھا تھا۔ انہوں نے نشاندہی کی کہ بعض عناصر نے انضمام کی راہ میں رکاوٹیں پیدا کرنے کی کوشش کی ، لیکن ان کی کوششوں کو ناکام بنانے کا سہرا قبائلی عوام کو جاتا ہے۔
