Hyundai Plans to Launch Tucson Base Variant

About two months ago, we shared news about Hyundai Nishat Motor Limited’s plan to introduce the base variant of the Hyundai Tucson. This crossover SUV will enter the market to compete with the Kia Sportage Alpha. According to our sources, the car has already been assembled, and the company is currently gearing up for its marketing campaign.

Anticipated Launch Delayed

Initial reports suggested that the car would be launched in June 2023. However, it appears that there has been a slight delay. Nevertheless, Hyundai seems ready to bring the variant to the local market. How do we know this? A recent social media post by the company on July 5, stated, “Embrace the excitement as new experiences await, Just 3 days away!” Interestingly, the post included hashtags mentioning GLS, which we believe is the name of Hyundai Tucson’s base variant.
