Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SEWL) has experienced a notable improvement in its monthly sales with the introduction of the Haval Jolion.
Haval Pakistan achieved its third-highest sales in June 2023 since its national launch. The Pakistan Automotive Manufacturer’s Association (PAMA) report reveals that the company sold a total of 218 units of the Haval H6 and Jolion combined, marking a 56% increase compared to the previous month’s sales.
Impressive Sales Performance and Market Presence of Haval
Haval made a significant breakthrough in January 2023, achieving its highest-ever monthly sales of 416 units. The following month also witnessed exceptional performance, with 280 units sold, making it the second-best sales month for the company. The sales figures for June 2023 indicate a return to form for Haval. However, attributing the sales increase solely to one model is challenging due to the combined sales of both SUVs.
Haval Jolion: A Futuristic and Feature-Rich SUV in Pakistan
In May 2023, Haval introduced the locally assembled Jolion in Pakistan, positioning it as a strong contender against popular SUVs such as the Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. The Jolion distinguishes itself with its futuristic and sleek design, both on the exterior and interior.
Equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, the Jolion delivers 147 hp and 220 Nm of torque to the front wheels through a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. Not compromising on safety, it features Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA) technology.
The suspension system combines McPherson Struts in the front and Torsion Bar Coil Spring suspension at the rear. Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SEWL) has ensured that the locally assembled Haval Jolion is packed with advanced amenities.
With a competitive price of Rs. 8.3 million, the Jolion emerges as an appealing option, offering more affordability compared to its rivals.
