ISLAMABAD: The protest of government employees has come to a head and the government has joined hands to increase the salaries and pensions of government employees.
According to News sources, an important meeting of the Pay and Pension Committee has been convened on Thursday to review the increase in salaries and pensions of government employees. The meeting will consider various proposals for increasing the salaries and pensions of government employees.
According to sources, the meeting of the Pay and Pension Committee will be held on Thursday at 5 pm at the Ministry of Finance. The meeting of the Pay and Pension Committee will be chaired by Finance Minister Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh while the meeting will be attended by Home Minister, Defense Minister, Finance Secretary, Home Secretary and other concerned officials.
The Pay and Pension Committee has also set up nine sub-committees to prepare recommendations. These sub-committees will complete their homework and submit their reports to the Pay and Pension Committee by next month (February).
After reviewing the proposals, the Pay and Pension Committee will prepare final recommendations and send them to the Ministry of Finance by the end of March or mid-April, in the light of which the government will increase the salaries and pensions of employees in the next fiscal year 22-2021. ذرائع کے مطابق ، تنخواہ اور پنشن کمیٹی کا اجلاس جمعرات کو شام 5 بجے وزارت خزانہ میں ہوگا۔ تنخواہ اور پنشن کمیٹی کا اجلاس وزیر خزانہ ڈاکٹر عبدالحفیظ شیخ کی زیرصدارت ہوگا جبکہ اجلاس میں وزیر داخلہ ، وزیر دفاع ، وزیر خزانہ ، سکریٹری داخلہ اور دیگر متعلقہ عہدیدار شریک ہوں گے۔
تنخواہوں اور پنشن کمیٹی نے سفارشات تیار کرنے کے لئے نو ذیلی کمیٹیاں بھی تشکیل دی ہیں۔ یہ ذیلی کمیٹیاں اپنا ہوم ورک مکمل کریں گی اور اگلے ماہ (فروری) تک اپنی رپورٹ تنخواہ اور پنشن کمیٹی کو پیش کریں گی۔
