The Google’s parent company, Alphabet has released its financial report for 4th quarter of 2020. The company claimed that the Google search and YouTube add a lot in the profits of Google during the Q4 2020.
According to the official financial report of the company, Google earned total revenue of $56.9 from October to December 2020 which is a 23% increase as compared to previous year’s revenue during the same period which was $46.1 billion.
According to Chief Financial officer, Alphabet, the credit goes to YouTube and Google Search for increase in profits. He states:
“Driven by Search and YouTube, as consumer and business activity recovered from earlier in the year”
According to the statistics of financial report, Google services earned $52.9 billion and Google Cloud generated $3.8. The other services of the Google and Alphabet generated $182.5 billion during the year. Google Search made revenue of $31.9 billion and YouTube earned $6.9 billion during the Q4 2020.
