Google has announced the phone app with the features of the call recording. It is already said that the search engine giant is working on its feature for Phone App and it is also reported that Nokia phones in India started receiving the updates. Google Phone App with Call Recording Feature.
Google has confirmed it officially and also posted the support document to describe the feature and how to use this app. It is mentioned in the document that in order to record the call, the device is equipped with Android 9 or above and they must have Google Phone app new version. It must be the supported device in supported region but it does not mention the devices or the supported regions.
It is easy to record the call by hitting the record button on screen, when you are doing a call and the recorded calls can be found with Phone App under Recents tab and call history. You can save these recording in your phone and you can also share them as audio files or delete them at any time when no longer required. When you record the calls for first time, the users receive the advice from app to comply with the local laws to record the call and different regions need consent before recording the call. It is necessary for the users to inform the other party to record their call and they will be informed, when you stop the recording of the call.
It is expected that this feature will be introduced globally but few owners of Nokia get it already and Google posted the official document that it will be provided very soon.
