یکم جولائی سے گھی اور تیل کی قیمتوں میں 18 روپے فی کلو اضافہ ہوگا
ISLAMABAD: After electricity, gas and petroleum, the people should be prepared to increase the prices of edible oil and ghee. From July 1, the prices of ghee and edible oil will increase by Rs 13 to 18 per kg.
According to media, the reason for the increase in ghee prices is the imposition of new taxes in the Finance Bill 2021-22. In this regard, the Pakistan Vegetable Manufacturers Association has informed the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister in advance that the prices will go up.
The text of the letter from the association said that if the taxes were not withdrawn, then from July 1, ghee and oil would go up by Rs 13 to Rs 18, which would affect the general public.
The matter was also raised in the Finance Committee by the Pakistan Vegetable Association. The committee had directed the PVMA to resolve the issues with the officials of the Ministry of Finance.
