Federal Minister of Education and Training Shafqat Mahmood has announced that the Cambridge International Examinations have agreed to postpone the O-Level exams after May 15.
Mahmood announced on Twitter that the decision was made after detailed consultation with officials from the relevant agencies. Cambridge will share the details later.

In a press conference on Wednesday, Mahmood pointed out the possibility of postponing the level O and A examinations planned for the May / June meeting.
In his previous tweet, Mahmood had sent a message to the students who sent him messages and emails that he was in constant contact with Cambridge authorities.

Before the outbreak of the new variant of COVID-19, the minister had promised to hold Cambridge exams as well as intermediate and matriculation exams as scheduled this year.
He had announced that exams for grades 10, 11, and 12 would be held this year in May and June.
