Google pays Apple about $ 10 to $ 12 billion a year to be the top search provider on all devices. The contract between the two companies may expire soon as new antitrust proceedings by the US Department of Justice against Google could prevent its renewal. In both cases, it is clear that Google’s deal with Apple will soon face regulatory pressures that can lead Apple to come up with an alternative, whatever it turns out to be.
