The federal and provincial education ministries are considering a newly proposed average grading system for students with a secondary school leaving certificate (SSC) and a higher secondary school leaving certificate (HSSC) for admissions in next class based on the Formula.
The proposal was made during a meeting between the ministries of education and all board secretaries headed by Federal Minister Shafqat Mehmood.
The formula suggests the student’s promotion criteria based on their previous details. It is currently under review and is expected to be implemented on Friday after final approval.
Here is the suggested formula for the average rating:
SSC-II (10th class) Marks & Merit Calculation Formula
For the students of SSC part-2, average marks for the 10th class will be calculated by adding marks obtained in the 9th class to (marks obtained in 9th ÷ total marks X 10).
Inter-II (Second Year) Marks & Merit Calculation Formula
In order to calculate average marks for 12th class, marks scored in the 11th class will be added to (marks obtained in 11th ÷ total marks X 10).
SSC-I (9th Class) Marks & Merit Calculation Formula
The proposal also suggests skipping 9th grade this year and taking 10th grade exams in 2021 while calculating the average grades for SSC-I using the formula given: the grades obtained in the Matic are added ( Grades in the 10th ÷ overall grade X 10).
HSSC-I (First Year) Marks & Merit Calculation Formula
The proposal stipulates that the 11th grade exam should not be taken this year and the exam for the second year next year. To calculate the grades for the 11th, the grades received for the 11th are added (grades in 11th ÷ total points X 10).
Another proposal was discussed that suggests skipping exams in 2020 and doing compound exams next year.
Improvement Cases Marks & Merit Calculation Formula
Improvement students have been given a slight lead in the average rating. Your average grades would be calculated using the following formula:
Marks obtained to be added to (marks obtained in 9th or 11th ÷ total marks X 20).
For Failed Papers Marks & Merit Calculation Formula
Average marks for each subject paper to be obtained by (marks obtained in 9th or 11th ÷ total marks X 15).

وفاقی اور صوبائی تعلیم کی وزارتیں سیکنڈری اسکول سرٹیفکیٹ (ایس ایس سی) اور اعلٰی ثانوی اسکول سرٹیفکیٹ (ایچ ایس ایس سی) کے طلبا کے لئے ایک تجویز کردہ اوسط مارکنگ سسٹم پر غور کر رہی ہیں۔
یہ تجویز وفاقی وزیر شفقت محمود کی سربراہی میں وزارت تعلیم ، اور بورڈ کے تمام سکریٹریوں کے درمیان اجلاس کے دوران پیش کی گئی۔
اس فارمولے میں طلبہ کی پچھلی تفصیلات کی بنا پر ترقی کے معیار کی تجویز پیش کی گئی ہے۔ جمعہ کے روز حتمی منظوری کے بعد اس پر عمل درآمد متوقع ہے۔
اوسط مارکنگ کے لئے مجوزہ فارمولا یہ ہے:
میٹرک پاٹ ٹو
ایس ایس سی پارٹ 2 کے طلباء کے لئے ، دسویں جماعت کے اوسط نمبر 9 ویں کلاس میں حاصل کردہ نمبروں کو جوڑ کر (9 ویں ÷ کل نمبرز 10 میں حاصل کردہ نمبر) کا حساب لگائیں گے۔
انٹر پارٹ ٹو
بارہویں کلاس کے اوسط نمبروں کے حساب کے لیے ، گیارہویں کلاس میں حاصل کردہ نمبروں میں اضافہ کیا جائے گا (گیارہویں ÷ کل نمبرز 10 میں حاصل کردہ نمبر)۔
میٹرک پارٹ ون
س تجویز میں اس سال نویں کلاس کو چھوڑنے اور 2021 میں دسویں کلاس کے امتحانات لینے کا بھی مشورہ دیا گیا ہے ، جبکہ ایس ایس سی پارٹ ون کے اوسط نمبر دیئے گئے فارمولے کے تحت شمار کیے جائیں: میٹرک میں حاصل کردہ نمبروں میں اضافہ کیا جائے گا
گیارہویں کلاس
اس تجویز میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ گیارہویں جماعت کا امتحان اس سال نہیں لیا جانا چاہئے اور دوسرے سال کا امتحان اگلے سال لیا جانا چاہئے۔ گیارہویں نمبر کے لئے نمبروں کا حساب لگانے کے لئے ، گیارہویں کے لئے حاصل کردہ نمبروں میں اضافہ کیا جائے (گیارہویں ÷ کل نمبرز 10 میں حاصل کردہ نمبر)۔
ایک اور تجویز زیر بحث آیا جس میں 2020 میں امتحانات چھوڑنا اور اگلے سال جامع امتحانات منعقد کرنے کا مشورہ دیا گیا ہے۔
امپرومنٹ کے امتحان
اوسطا مارکنگ میں بہتری کے طلباء کو معمولی برتری دی گئی ہے۔ اس فارمولے کے ذریعہ ان کے اوسط نمبروں کا حساب لیا جائے گا
فیل ہونے والوں کے لیے
ہر مضامین کے مقالے لیے اوسط نمبر (نویں کلاس نمبر یا گیارہویں نمبر پر پائے جانے والے نمبرکو ۱۵ سے ظرب)۔
