Recently, six exceptional dogs were honored for their remarkable contributions in detecting drugs, explosives, and criminals. They were recognized with well-deserved medals and certificates and made available for adoption.

The retirement ceremony for these outstanding sniffer dogs took place at the Punjab Police Dogs Breeding and Training School, located within the Police Training School Bedian. This special event marked a significant shift in the department’s approach to retired service animals.
JFK Animal Rescue and Shelter Simplifies Adoption Process
The Punjab Police teamed up with JFK Animal Rescue and Shelter to successfully match retired dogs with caring families. The adoption ceremony organized by JFK Animal Rescue and Shelter ensured that these dogs found loving homes with proper documentation.
Zufishan Anushay of JFK Animal Rescue and Shelter transformed the fate of retired dogs in the Punjab Police by ending the euthanization practice. With dedicated efforts, she found loving families who now provide care and affection to these loyal service dogs, replacing cruelty with retirement and adoption ceremonies.
Gulberg Circle ASP Syeda Sherbano offered retired animals for adoption. Interested families must provide proper care, food, and shelter after signing an agreement. Regular visits will ensure their well-being. No spying, experimentation, breeding, or sale allowed. Adoptive families must share pictures and videos for monitoring.
