Pakistan’s Tekken 7 Team Triumphs, Defeats South Korea


In a stunning display of skill and determination, Pakistan achieved yet another extraordinary milestone in the gaming world. They emerged victorious over South Korea with a score of 3-2, claiming the prestigious Tekken 7 Nations Cup championship in Riyadh.

The highly anticipated event, organized by the Saudi Esports Federation at Boulevard Riyadh City, gathered 16 national teams from around the world. Over the course of four thrilling days, starting from July 6th and concluding on the 9th, gamers from different nations showcased their prowess in Tekken 7. With a vast selection of over 50 characters to choose from, they engaged in intense battles, vying for their share of the impressive $1 million prize pool.

Led by the exceptional talents of Arslan Siddique, renowned as “Arslan Ash,” along with Imran Khan and Atif Butt, Pakistan’s formidable team clinched the ultimate triumph. With an electrifying win against South Korea, the trio joyously hoisted the coveted trophy aloft, as the fervent crowd erupted in thunderous chants of “Pakistan.”

Khan commented on his victory saying:

Alhamdulillah, I am feeling very blessed, very good. Saudi people are very amazing. I don’t know how we won but I think it’s because of our mothers’ prayers that were behind us, that’s why we won.

With a resounding 2-1 victory over the United Kingdom, Pakistan secured their rightful place in the thrilling final of the tournament. Prior to this remarkable triumph, Pakistan had already demonstrated their gaming prowess by triumphing over South Africa, Japan, and Saudi Arabia in the group stages, solidifying their well-deserved spot in the semifinals.
