The e-Rozgar Training Program, a collaborative initiative of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, has proven to be a game-changer for the skilled youth of Punjab. Through this program, young individuals have been given the opportunity to explore various fields and enhance their expertise, leading them to collectively earn more than Rs. 8.152 billion.
Enabling the Youth with Diverse Training
The e-Rozgaar Training Program has been successfully providing training to unemployed youth from Punjab in seven distinct areas. These include Mobile App Development, Technical Content Marketing, Creative Designing, and e-Commerce, among others. Over time, the program has witnessed more than 54,000 students completing their training, equipped with new skills and confidence to face the digital world.
Empowering through Earnings
A recent survey conducted on e-Rozgaar-trained candidates highlighted their incredible success in leveraging the Internet to generate substantial earnings. The cumulative earnings of these skilled individuals have now surpassed Rs. 8.152 billion. This impressive figure stands as a testament to the effectiveness of the program in transforming lives and empowering the youth economically.
An Expanding Network of e-Rozgaar Centers
To facilitate the training process, as many as 45 e-Rozgaar Centers have been set up across Punjab. These centers serve as hubs of knowledge, equipped with modern infrastructure and experienced trainers, guiding the youth towards a promising future.
