In response to an enigmatic disease outbreak in Upper Egypt, the Russian regulatory body has implemented stringent health measures for flights originating from Egypt. This action comes as reports emerge of an unidentified illness affecting individuals in the Qena governorate.
Symptoms and Urgent Actions Taken
According to available information, the disease has manifested symptoms such as elevated body temperature, headaches, fatigue, and abdominal discomfort among those affected. Amr Adib, a prominent Egyptian TV host, shed light on the situation during his show “al-Hekaya” (The Story) on MBC Masr. Adib emphasized that a significant number of people in the Qena governorate have fallen ill, prompting immediate intervention from the Ministry of Health and Population.
Unveiling the Unidentified Disease
The Egyptian Ministry of Health issued a statement indicating that approximately 250 individuals from the village of al-Aleqat in Qena Governorate have exhibited symptoms associated with the mysterious disease. However, the symptoms do not follow a consistent pattern, ranging from mild to moderate, and have not warranted hospitalization.
Enhanced Measures to Contain the Potential Spread
To curb the potential transmission of this unidentified illness, the Russian regulatory authority has bolstered health control and quarantine protocols for incoming flights from Egypt.
