Yamaha posted a notice informing dealers of a price increase for the base YBR 125. The price was raised by the bike manufacturer just before the 2021 YBR-125 was launched, which would likely have a different set of stickers on the body.
According to the announcement, the new price went into effect on April 8th. The company has not given an explanation as to why the price was raised on essentially the same bike that debuted in Pakistan 5 years ago. The new price of the bike is as follows:

The price increase for the rest of the Yamaha range was announced a week ago. The first price hike for the YBR 125 came back in January of this year, which also led to an increase of up to Rs. 6,000.
As mentioned earlier, these price increases are unreasonable as the value of the local currency has been strong for some time. This is the excuse for every single price hike by automakers since the first wave of the coronavirus. The regulatory authorities remain silent despite multiple unjustified price increases.

نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق ، نئی قیمت 8 اپریل کو موثر ہوگئی۔ کمپنی کی جانب سے اس بارے میں کوئی وضاحت شیئر نہیں کی گئی ہے کہ کیوں اسی قیمت کے لئے قیمت میں اضافہ کیا گیا ہے کیوں کہ بنیادی طور پر اسی موٹر سائیکل نے 5 سال قبل پاکستان میں قدم رکھا تھا۔
یاماہا کے بقیہ لائن اپ کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کا اعلان ایک ہفتہ قبل ہوا تھا۔ وائی بی آر 125 کے لئے پہلی بار قیمتوں میں اضافہ اسی سال جنوری میں ہوا تھا ، جس کے نتیجے میں 6000 روپے تک کا اضافہ ہوا تھا۔
جیسا کہ پہلے ہی روشنی ڈالا گیا ہے ، قیمتوں میں اضافے غیر معقول ہیں کیونکہ مقامی کرنسی کی قدر کچھ عرصے سے مضبوط رہی ہے ، جو کورونا وائرس کی پہلی لہر کے بعد سے کار ساز کمپنیوں کی جانب سے ہر قیمت میں اضافے کا بہانہ بنا ہوا ہے۔ متعدد بلاجواز قیمتوں میں اضافے کے باوجود بھی ریگولیٹری ادارے خاموش ہیں۔
