In a commendable effort to bring public services to the doorstep of its citizens, the Rawalpindi Traffic Police have released the weekly schedule for their mobile driving license van. This initiative, reported by Forum Pakistan, is designed to make the process of obtaining a driving license more accessible and hassle-free for residents across the district.
The mobile van serves as a one-stop solution for various licensing services, saving citizens the long commute and wait times at traditional traffic offices. Here is the detailed schedule for the current week, enabling residents to plan their visit accordingly:
- Tuesday, September 2: The mobile van will be stationed at Scut village in Tehsil Kallar Syedan.
- Wednesday, September 3: Residents of Kuri Dolal village in Tehsil Gujar Khan will be able to avail the services.
- Thursday, September 4: The van moves to a central location, Raja Bazar near Fawara Chowk, to serve the busy area.
- Friday, September 5: The team will be at Jhawara Picket, Dhamial Camp, providing convenience to the local community.
- Saturday, September 6: The service will be available for citizens at Gulzar-e-Quaid on Old Airport Road.
- Sunday, September 7: The weekly campaign concludes with a special focus on rickshaw drivers, who can get their licenses processed at the Old Waran Depot in Saddar.
This proactive approach by the Rawalpindi Traffic Police highlights a commitment to public convenience and efficiency. By bringing licensing services directly into different localities, they are not only promoting road safety by encouraging more people to get legal licenses but also building a stronger, more positive relationship with the community. Citizens are encouraged to take advantage of this initiative and ensure they have all necessary documents ready for a smooth process.
