Apple has officially revealed the latest generation of its wireless headphones, the AirPods Pro 3. The new model comes with significant upgrades to sound quality, design, and health tracking. The AirPods Pro 3 features a completely reengineered internal design. This new build makes each earbud smaller and more stable in your ear. Battery life has also seen a significant boost, offering eight hours of listening with ANC enabled. That is a 33% increase compared to the previous model. The Transparency mode has also been improved for a more natural sound experience.
Introducing Health and Fitness Features
For the first time, the AirPods Pro 3 include a built-in heart rate monitor. The headphones can track over 50 different workout types and pair directly with the iOS Fitness app. Users will receive personalized insights and motivation prompts during their sessions. Fitness+ subscribers can access real-time performance metrics like heart rate and calories burned directly on their iPhones.
Powered by Apple Intelligence
One of the most exciting new features is Live Translation, powered by Apple Intelligence. Users can speak in their own language, and their words will be instantly translated for listeners with AirPods Pro 3. The feature also provides live transcriptions and translates responses, showing them on the user’s iPhone screen. At launch, Live Translation supports several languages, including English, French, German, and Spanish.
