The Sindh government has decided to close all universities in the province by July 31st. All private and public universities have been ordered to cease their on-campus activities and conduct online courses, according to a statement from the Sindh Home Department.
That decision was made during a Sindh Coronavirus Task Force meeting on Friday, and it was also decided that all audits (including mid-term audits) will go ahead as planned despite the institution’s closure. Prime Minister Murad Ali Shah stated that Sindh’s COVID-19 infection rate has risen to 10 percent and the Delta variant is spreading rapidly.
The provincial government has banned indoor and outdoor eating in restaurants, weddings and gatherings and has decided to close markets after 6:00 p.m.

یہ فیصلہ جمعہ کوسندھ کی کورونا وئرس ٹاسک فورس کے اجلاس کے دوران لیا گیا ، اور یہ بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ تمام امتحانات (بشمول انٹرمیڈیٹ کے) اداروں کی بندش کے باوجود شیڈول کے مطابق ہی ہوں گے۔
وزیراعلیٰ مراد علی شاہ نے بتایا کہ سندھ میں کورونا وائرس انفیکشن کی شرح 10 فیصد تک پہنچ گئی ہے اور یہ کہ ڈیلٹا کی مختلف اقسام تیزی سے پھیل رہی ہے۔
صوبائی حکومت نے ریستوران ، شادیوں ، اجتماعات میں انڈور اور آؤٹ ڈور ڈائننگ پر پابندی عائد کردی ہے اور شام 6 بجے کے بعد بازاروں کو بند رکھنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔
