Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan reportedly made a surprise visit to the deputy commissioner’s office in Peshawar, disguised as citizens among the dozen of complainants who had queued to register their inquiries.
The CM observed all officers stationed in the building and paid close attention to how his workers were working.
Following this visit, CM Khan caught an employee and a licensing officer taking bribes from the complainants before delegating their inquiries.
For the time being, the two officers were suspended. In addition, the government plans to investigate the incident in order to prevent such corruption cases from occurring again.
Upon completion of his visit, the CM stated that surprise visits are often made to keep tabs on the affairs of the provincial government.

اس دورے کے بعد ، سی ایم خان نے لائسنس برانچ کے ایک کلرک اور ایک عملے کو ان کے سوالات پیش کرنے سے پہلے شکایت کنندہ سے رشوت لیتے ہوئے پکڑا۔
فی الحال ، ان دونوں افسروں کو معطل کردیا گیا ہے۔ مزید یہ کہ حکومت اس واقعے کی تحقیقات کا ارادہ رکھتی ہے تاکہ اس طرح کے واقعات کو دوبارہ ہونے سے بچایا جاسکے۔
اپنے دورے کے اختتام کے بعد ، وزیراعلیٰ نے بتایا کہ ایسے دورے اکثر کیے جائیں گے تاکہ صوبائی حکومت کے امور پر گہری نظر رکھی جاسکے۔
