The Punjab Examination Board has announced the exam schedule for Grades 1 through 8 for 13 counties in the province.
Provincial Minister of School Education Murad Raas shared the notification on Twitter that exams for grades 1 to 8 will take place between June 7th and 25th and result cards will be issued on June 30th. The summer vacation starts on July 1st and the next academic session starts in August.
More than five million students in grades 1 to 8 will take the exams.
The examination committee has demanded strict compliance with the COVID-19-SOP during the exams.
Previously, the schools and universities in the districts affected by the coronavirus had opened for students in grades 9 to 12 from April 19, as announced by Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood.
Exams for class 9 to 12 will take place according to the new date sheets announced by the Boards. This means will not start before the 4th week of May.
Minister Mahmood also stated that exams A, AS, O-Levels and IGCSE will take place according to the date sheet announced by CAIES, adding that there will be no delay or cancellation this time. Those students who do not wish to take the exams at this session can take them in October or November for the same fee.

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ یونیورسٹیوں کے داخلے کے نظام الاوقات کو امتحان کے ٹائم ٹیبل کے مطابق ایڈجسٹ کیا جائے گا۔
وزیر محمود نے یہ بھی اعلان کیا کہ اے ، اے ایس ، او لیولز ، اور آئی جی سی ایس ای امتحانات ڈی اے شیٹ کے مطابق ہوں گے جس کا اعلان کیمبرج نے کیا تھا ، اور مزید کہا کہ اس بار کوئی تاخیر یا منسوخی نہیں ہوگی۔ اس سیشن کے امتحانات میں بیٹھنے کے خواہشمند طلباء اکتوبر یا نومبر میں اسی فیس کے ل. لے سکتے ہیں۔
