The Pakistani rupee continues its upward trend as today’s interbank market rates closed with a gain of 14 paisas. The continued improvement in the PKR exchange rate against the US dollar shows that the rupee is strong, competitive and market-oriented.
Pakistan has received significant remittances in the past few months. Coupled with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) efforts to encourage foreign investment in the country, this has shown moderate but steady results over the past few days.
The improvement in exports, led mainly by the textile sector and aided in part by the early easing of lockdown restrictions, also helped strengthen the rupee against the greenback.
At the other end of the spectrum, regardless of factors in the Pakistani economy, the continued weakening of the US dollar in international markets is also pulling the rupee back to fair value.
The rupee (PKR) gained 14 paisas against the US dollar (USD) in today’s inter bank session as it closed at Rs. 159.96 per USD, against closing the last session of Rs. 160.10 per USD.
The constant inflows of foreign currency into the country due to overseas remittances, investments via Roshan digital accounts and export receipts created a favorable balance between the supply and demand of the greenback in the local market and resulted in a stabilization of the rupee-USD parity.

برآمدات میں بہتری ، بنیادی طور پر ٹیکسٹائل سیکٹر کی قیادت میں اور جزوی طور پر لاک ڈاون پابندیوں کو جلد از جلد ڈھیلنے میں معاون ، نے گرین بیک کے مقابلہ میں روپے کو مضبوط بنانے میں بھی اپنا کردار ادا کیا ہے۔
سپیکٹرم کے دوسرے سرے سے ، بین الاقوامی منڈیوں میں امریکی ڈالر کی مسلسل کمزوری ، پاکستانی معیشت کے کسی بھی عوامل سے آزاد ، بھی روپے کو منصفانہ اقدار کی طرف کھینچ رہی ہے۔
آج کے انٹربینک سیشن میں امریکی ڈالر (امریکی ڈالر) کے مقابلے میں روپے (پی کے آر) نے 14 پیسے کی قدر کی جس کی وجہ یہ روپے میں بند ہوا۔ 159.96 امریکی ڈالر ، آخری سیشن کے روپے کے اختتام پر 160.10 امریکی ڈالر۔
