A nine-year-old Pakistani girl who broke an Indian professor’s record is the youngest in the world to quickly arrange the chemical elements of the periodic table.
Lahore science enthusiast Natalia Najam achieved the Guinness World Record title by arranging the periodic table in just 2 minutes 42 seconds and breaking the previous record by 7 seconds.
The title was previously held by Indian economics professor Meenakshi Agarwal, who did the same job in 2 minutes and 49 seconds.
The prodigy received a resounding thumbs up from the judges as she vigorously completed the task.
Natalia hopes that her performance will inspire other Pakistani children to become interested in science and pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
The young girl is hailed as “Pakistan’s young scientist” for her remarkable performance. People hope that she will become an inspiration for Pakistani girls to study science subjects.
In the meantime, her father Hasan Najam has announced that his Natalia has not received formal education and has been taught at home.

اس سے قبل یہ اعزاز ہندوستانی معاشیات کے پروفیسر میناکشی اگروال کے پاس تھا جس نے اسی کام کو 2 منٹ 49 سیکنڈ میں مکمل کیا۔
نتالیہ کو امید ہے کہ اس کا یہ کارنامہ دوسرے پاکستانی بچوں کو سائنس میں دلچسپی لینے اور سائنس ، ٹکنالوجی ، انجینئرنگ ، اور ریاضی (ایس ٹی ایم ایم) میں کیریئر حاصل کرنے کی ترغیب دے گا۔
کمسن بچی کو اس کے حیرت انگیز کارنامے کے لئے ‘پاکستان کا نوجوان سائنسدان’ قرار دیا جارہا ہے۔ لوگوں کو امید ہے کہ وہ پاکستانی لڑکیوں کے لئے سائنس کے مضامین لینے کی تحریک کا باعث بنے گی۔
ادھر ، اس کے والد حسن نجم نے انکشاف کیا ہے کہ ان کی نتالیہ نے باضابطہ تعلیم حاصل نہیں کی ہے اور گھر میں ہی تعلیم حاصل کی ہے۔
