The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has reportedly decided to discontinue the Rs. 25,000 price bonds, Media News reported.
According to reports, this move is based on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) 27-Point Action Plan to Strengthen Pakistan’s Regime to Combat Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
The price tickets will be withdrawn gradually. In the first phase, the Rs. 25,000 Prize Bonds will be converted into Premium Bonds for redemption, the registration process of which will begin later this month.
In this regard, all Price Bond holders must submit a copy of their CNICs using a special form issued by the SBP.
In addition, the price is on Rs. 25,000 bonds are deposited directly into the holder’s account rather than being paid out in cash. The SBP had also stopped issuing the Rs. 40,000 price bonds in February 2019.

اس سلسلے میں ، تمام انعامی بانڈ ہولڈرز کو ضرورت ہوگی کہ وہ اپنے شناختی کارڈ کی ایک کاپی اسٹیٹ بینک کے ذریعہ جاری کردہ ایک خصوصی فارم کے ساتھ جمع کروائیں۔
مزید یہ کہ ، روپے پر انعام 25،000 بانڈز نقد رقم میں ڈالنے کے بجائے براہ راست ہولڈرز کے اکاؤنٹ میں منتقل کردیئے جائیں گے۔
