Rains and Floods in Karachi
In July and August, Rains and floods in Karachi and Sindh caused a massive loss and more than 100 deaths were reported across the province. Due to this disaster, millions of the people around the sindh affected. The areas of Badin, Umerkot, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar and Shaheed Benazirabad in Sindh were a sever victim of floods.
Locust Attacks
Locusts have damaged food crops across Pakistan, with attacks increasing in several districts of Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan.
The locusts attacked crops in Multan, Muzaffargarh, Vehari, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur in Punjab and Sanghar, Matiari and Ghotki in Sindh.
The attacks added to the anxiety of farmers, who tried to beat drums to scare away the invading insects.

Kashmore Rape Case
A Karachi resident and her four-year-old daughter Alisha were abducted and raped after a woman was called to Kashmore under the guise of a job scam.
The accused kidnapped the woman for 15 days. Meanwhile, the kidnappers continued to abuse the woman and her daughter.
Fifteen days later, they released the woman without any children and said she should go to Karachi and bring more women or her child would be killed.
The role of a police officer in the gang-rape of 4-year-old Alisha and her mother in Kashmore is being appreciated.
When the accused released Alisha’s mother on the condition that she arrange another girl, she went to the police and said that the accused had asked her to bring another girl. Police officer Muhammad Bakhsh, who has adopted his own daughter, calls these criminals traps and catches the entire gang.
Later, Larkana police said that the real culprit of Kashmore gang-rape was killed by a colleague.

پی آئی اے طیارہ حادثہ
