The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has announced that classes in Punjab’s medical and dental colleges will begin on February 22nd.
The announcement came as an official statement on Monday, adding that classes at the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) colleges will begin on March 1.
According to the details, an important admissions meeting was held on campus, attended by the Vice Chancellors (VC) of the private medical and dental colleges in Punjab and AJK, and that of VC UHS, Dr. Javed Akram.
During the meeting, it was decided that talented students who are unable to pay tuition fees will not be denied admission to medical or dental colleges as multiple scholarships are available for deserving students.
The team leader for approvals, Dr. Allah Rakha, also attended the meeting and informed attendees that the admissions process had been completed according to the guidelines of the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) and that 95 percent of the seats were enrolled.

تفصیلات کے مطابق ، داخلے کے بارے میں ایک اہم اجلاس کیمپس میں ہوا جس میں پنجاب اور اے جے کے میں نجی میڈیکل اور ڈینٹل کالجوں کے وائس چانسلرز (وی سی) نے شرکت کی اور جس کی صدارت وی سی یو ایچ ایس ، ڈاکٹر جاوید اکرم نے کی۔
میٹنگ کے دوران یہ فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ ہونہار طالب علم جو ٹیوشن فیس ادا کرنے سے قاصر ہیں انہیں میڈیکل یا ڈینٹل کالجوں میں داخلے سے انکار نہیں کیا جائے گا کیونکہ مستحق طلباء کے لئے کئی اسکالرشپ دستیاب ہیں۔
ٹیم لیڈ فار ایڈمیشنز ڈاکٹر اللہ رکھا نے بھی اجلاس میں شرکت کی اور شرکاء کو آگاہ کیا کہ داخلہ کا عمل پاکستان میڈیکل کمیشن (پی ایم سی) کی ہدایت کے مطابق مکمل ہوچکا ہے اور اس میں 95 فیصد داخلہ لیا گیا تھا۔
