In a heart-wrenching incident at Saleh Muhammad Goth in Shah Latif Town, two lives were lost, and three others, including a woman, sustained injuries on Tuesday.
A clash between two groups erupted in Saleh Muhammad Goth, triggered by a dispute over the establishment of a Tuesday Bazaar, resulting in a devastating outcome.
The victims were rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where the deceased were identified as Shahnawaz, 24, son of Ashraf, and Uzair, 26, son of Abdus Samad. Among the injured were 12-year-old Akhtar, son of Abdur Raheem, and 45-year-old Lal Bibi, daughter of Khair Muhammad.
Unintended Consequences
During the intense clash, some individuals resorted to opening fire, leading to the tragic deaths of two members of the Lashari community and injuries to three others. Shockingly, among the injured was the mother of the suspects involved in the altercation, who was accidentally shot amidst the chaos.
Authorities Apprehend Suspects; One Remains at Large
After the incident, law enforcement acted swiftly, capturing three suspects named Faraz, Saddam, and Sajjad Brohi. However, the search for one suspect, Mehboob, continues as he remains at large. As part of the operation, the police also confiscated two weapons from the apprehended individuals.
