| Thermal Towers for Electricity in Pakistan |
|
The very high temperatures that we have in Pak can be put to very good
use through Thermal Towers. The construction of such a tower is very
simple but the idea has a lot of potential.
Thermal towers comprises of a large 'collection' area , that is made of
transparent material ( colud be glass or transparent plastic ) , then
in the centre there is large hollow tower and at the base of the tower
there are turbines for generating electricity.
As the sun rays fall on 'collection' area it heats up the air
underneath it ( much like you leave your car in the sun with closed
windows ) Hot air will rise and form a thermal current through the
hollow tower. The turbines at the base of the tower turn because of air
flow and as a result generate electricity.
Please give suggestions?

idea is good ... and no doubt Pakistan has much resources for generating power & electricity
either from thermal,hydro,nuclear , solar or wind
but the question is when will our Govt. will think abt it and take some measures... we can be self sufficient by producing electricity from different ways ...that will also make us independent i think there are some forces who dont want to see an INDEPENDENT & SELF SUFFICIENT Pakistan.

i think that there should be a private-public partnership or the govt must give incentives to those people(communities) who want to build this sort of technology

Im not really sure but my uncle told me that it came in news that govt of Pakistan bought some kind of energy turbine or that thermal energy plant thing and they gonna announce it on the 14th august that there will unlikely any shortage of electricity in Pakistan.
i hope its true

yes there is a need to explore alternate energy resources to meet power shortage,,,solar energy is a good option for Pakistan

do din pehlay hamare gher kay saath walay gher main aik bohat he mazay ka hadsa hua
to hua kuch hun k us gher main aik larka rehta hai jo k bohat he shararti hai waise to uski umer koi kareeb 20 21 saal hai lekin uska demaagh bilkul bacho wala hai jaise k 6 7 saal k bache ka hota hai aur intehai shararti hai !
To janab usne kia kiya k TV chal raha tha aur us ki behan tv dekh rahi thi aur wo usko nahi dekhne de raha tha to us ne aisa kia k Kitchen main gaya aur aik churi (Knife) utha kar laya aur TV ki Taar ko kattne laga jaise hee taar (wire) uper say katne hui to neechay jo Current wali wire hoti hai jaa ker churri us kay saath lagi aur wo bacha wahien per chippak gaya matlab usko carrent laga lekin aik he second k baad wo kia kehte hain Load Shedding ka time ho gaya aur Lite off ho gai jis se wo Bacha bach gaya !
aur sab ne aik bar nara lagaya

achi baat hai agar govt kuch action leh to kuch ho sakta hai hamary soochny se kya ho ga sirf mazak he bany ga or is govt se to kuch b umeed nhe ki jani chahiye ye jo 24 hours mei se 2hrs light aa rahi hai is ko ganimet samhjo
