According to the Wall Street Journal, an internal investigation has been launched into Tesla’s potential misappropriation of millions of dollars in funds for the construction of a glass house for its CEO, Elon Musk.
Unnamed sources familiar with the matter have disclosed that a covert operation called Project 42 was initiated at Tesla, involving the creation of a glass-walled structure. The design drawings revealed a residential setup with bedrooms, bathrooms, and a kitchen. The substantial internal order for specialized glass raised questions among employees regarding its purpose, prompting an inquiry into the potential misuse of company resources and the potential involvement of Elon Musk.
Glass House Residence and Futuristic Features
The project was intended to serve as a residence for Musk, located near Tesla’s primary office in the Austin, Texas region. The design plans also showcased a striking waterfall integrated into the property’s landscape and a futuristic pickup truck resembling Tesla’s Cybertruck.
The results of the internal investigation have not been disclosed, leaving uncertainty regarding whether the ordered glass was ever received or the current status of Project 42.
