The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has achieved a significant victory in its ongoing battle against drug smuggling. Recently, a well-executed operation led to the interception of a substantial quantity of heroin that was destined for the United Kingdom (UK).
Thwarted Smuggling Operation at Private Courier Company
The operation unfolded at the premises of a prominent private courier company located on Shahrah e Faisal. ANF officials conducted a meticulous search, focusing their efforts on a suspicious parcel that contained what appeared to be a set of cricket balls. This raised immediate concerns and prompted a thorough investigation.
Heroin Discovered Concealed within Cricket Balls
ANF‘s skilled team of search operatives carefully examined the cricket balls and uncovered a surprising find. A total of 270 grams of heroin had been ingeniously hidden within the balls, cleverly concealed by the drug smugglers.
The discovery of this illicit substance within six cricket balls prompted the immediate initiation of a case under the Narcotics Act. As a result, a comprehensive investigation is now underway to reveal the identities of the individuals involved in this smuggling attempt.
