Shafqat Mahmood Responds to Negative Reactions on Educational Institutes Reopening

The Federal Minister of Education, Shafqat Mahmood, tweeted about his amazement at the negative reactions of the students to the reopening of educational institutions and advised them to take their studies seriously.

On Monday, the government announced that it would gradually open schools from January 18 and universities in February. However, many students were dissatisfied with the development and expressed their disappointment on social media.

The minister was shocked by the reaction, reprimanded the students for taking their future for granted and said on Twitter: “I am surprised to see the negative reaction of some students to school / college / university reopening. Education is a gateway to the future. Years of education are also the best time in life. “

Educational Institute Reopening Schedule 2021:

  • Online learning from 11 January, 2021.
  • Class 9 to 12 from 18 January, 2021.
  • Class 1 to 8 from 25 January, 2021.
  • Universities from 1 February, 2021.
  • Board exams in May and June, 2021.
  • Next review meeting on 14 January, 2021.
