Samsung is gearing up to unveil the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 during its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. While it’s already known that the phone will feature a larger cover screen, recent leaks suggest that there are more design upgrades in store.
Renowned tipster Roland Quandt has shared leaked images of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, shedding light on one significant improvement: a gapless hinge. This means that when the phone is closed, it will lay completely flat, preventing the entry of any unwanted dust or particles.
Check out the leaked image below.
Additionally, Quandt also revealed images of the folder-shaped cover screen, showcasing its enhanced capabilities. Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the new model is expected to boast a much larger 3.5-inch display, a considerable upgrade from the previous 1.9-inch outer screen.
The cover screen will support a variety of widgets, including calendar, messaging apps, Samsung Wallet, time and battery status, weather updates, call history, and full keyboard support. With these features, users will be able to conveniently respond to messages directly from the cover screen, eliminating the need to unfold the phone.
The leak of these images, which were promptly removed from the internet, serves as further confirmation of their authenticity. Samsung’s attempt to erase them only strengthens their credibility.
