According to a recent research conducted by Australian researchers the Reusable face masks can be used for road construction after making them in to a special material. This is very strange and amazing but the research in science can make anything possible.
The material is a mix of micro-toned facial masks and processed construction debris that fulfills civil engineering safety standards developed by researchers at RMIT University in Melbourne,
Dr. Muhammad Saberian, lead author of the study and theoretical researcher, said the study “considered the feasibility of recycling single-use masks on the road and we were very pleased to find the job, yes, but also the provision of real benefits of engineering”
He further said that the team expects to “work with large-scale health and safety risk management methods and investigate whether other types of PPE are also suitable for recycling”.
The new discovery, published in the journal Environmental Science, is the first of its kind to convert safety equipment (PPE) into a standard substance for road construction.
Although the experiment was carried out with minimally invasive masks, other studies showed that the masks proved to be effective in disinfecting and disinfecting. A comprehensive review of emerging genetic technologies has shown that microwaves can kill 99.9% of viruses, which can be achieved by spraying the mask with an antiseptic and microwave solution for 60 seconds.
