Thai authorities made a chilling discovery as they located the dismembered body of a German businessman, Hans-Peter Mack, in a freezer. The search for the 62-year-old property broker, who had been missing since 4 July, ended tragically on Monday night when his remains were found in a garbage bag at a rented house in Nong Prue, a city in southern Thailand.
Two German Suspects Arrested in Connection with Mack’s Murder
In connection with the murder of Hans-Peter Mack, Thai police have arrested two German suspects. Investigators believe the suspects conspired to murder Mack and subsequently transported and concealed his body. The authorities made the discovery after locating Mack’s Mercedes sedan in the parking lot of a condominium in Nong Prue, where they found additional evidence.
Disturbing Evidence and Missing Money Uncovered
During the investigation, authorities uncovered chilling evidence at the crime scene. In addition to the dismembered body, investigators discovered a cordless chainsaw, a pair of hedge clippers, and rolls of plastic. Footage aired on Thai television channels revealed traces of a cleaning solvent on various surfaces of Mack’s car, suggesting an “intention to destroy evidence.” Furthermore, it was revealed that a substantial amount of money was missing from Mack’s bank account.
