Punjab University Announces Semester & Annual Exams 2020 Policy

Punjab University (PU) has announced its semester and annual testing guidelines as part of the coronavirus pandemic that has disrupted academic activity across Pakistan.

According to PU’s official announcement, students enrolled in semester-based programs should prepare for both traditional and MCQ-based online exams.

PU has reserved the period from August 26th to September 6th for final semester exams. If the coronavirus situation in Pakistan improves and the government allows universities to reopen before August 23, students will have to take traditional exams, otherwise they will be assessed via an MCQ-based online exam.

The summer break in PU lasts from June 1st to August 9th, suggesting that online classes will continue until May 31st.

PU will hold compensation classes from August 10th to 24th, provided the coronavirus situation normalizes and the government allows universities to teach in the classroom.
