The Punjab Education Department has published the schedule for the matriculation and mid-term exams for all bodies in the province.
In this regard, a notice was published over the weekend stating that the annual matriculation exams will start on May 4th and the intermediate exams on June 12th.
The results of the matriculation exam will be announced on August 31, and the results of the mid-term exams will be published on September 30. Last week, the Punjab School’s Education Department announced the exam schedule for grades 1-8. A notice released on February 11th stated that exams for elementary and primary school classes would take place in the last week of May.
In the meantime, the Sindh government has postponed exam schedules for the enrollment and intermediate level. They were previously planned for June and July respectively, but have now been postponed to the next consecutive months.
Sindh’s Education Minister Saeed Ghani announced on January 30th that the exams for grades 9 and 10 (matriculation) would begin on July 1 and the exams for grades 11 and 12 (intermediate level) from July 28th.

محکمہ تعلیم پنجاب نے صوبہ بھر کے تمام بورڈز کے میٹرک اور انٹرمیڈیٹ کے امتحانات کا شیڈول جاری کردیا ہے۔
اس سلسلے میں ہفتے کے آخر میں ایک نوٹیفکیشن جاری کیا گیا تھا ، جس کے مطابق میٹرک کے سالانہ امتحانات 4 مئی سے شروع ہوں گے اور انٹرمیڈیٹ کے امتحانات 12 جون سے شروع ہوں گے۔
میٹرک کے امتحانات کے نتائج کا اعلان 31 اگست کو ہوگا ، اور انٹرمیڈیٹ امتحانات کے نتائج 30 ستمبر کو جاری کیے جائیں گے۔
گذشتہ ہفتے ، محکمہ پنجاب اسکول ایجوکیشن نے کلاس 1 سے 8 کے امتحانات کے شیڈول کا اعلان کیا تھا۔ 11 فروری کو جاری کردہ ایک نوٹیفکیشن میں بتایا گیا تھا کہ پرائمری اور ایلیمنٹری کلاسوں کے لئے امتحانات مئی کے آخری ہفتے میں ہوں گے۔
ادھر حکومت سندھ نے میٹرک اور انٹرمیڈیٹ کی سطح کے امتحانات کے نظام الاوقات میں تاخیر کی ہے۔ اس سے قبل وہ بالترتیب جون اور جولائی کے مہینوں کے لئے شیڈول تھے ، لیکن اب اگلے مہینوں تک ملتوی کردیئے گئے ہیں۔
سندھ کے وزیر تعلیم ، سعید غنی نے 30 جنوری کو اعلان کیا تھا کہ کلاس 9 اور 10 (میٹرک) کے امتحانات 1 جولائی سے شروع ہوں گے اور کلاس 11 اور 12 (انٹرمیڈیٹ) کے امتحانات 28 جولائی سے شروع ہوں گے۔
