The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has introduced a new Automated Lost and Stolen Device System (LSDS) that can be used to block lost, stolen and hijacked cell phones.
The new system provides a simple and easy way for users who want to block the mobile phone in case it is stolen, hijacked or lost. Complainants can easily apply to PTA to block the IMEI of such a handset in order to prevent possible misuse.
LSDS is an automated system and is integrated into the DTABS (Device Identification, Registration and Blocking System) from PTA. The stolen mobile phone will be blocked within 24 hours of reporting the required verification.
For more information/query, users may contact PTA Consumer Support Center (CSC) toll-free number 0800-55055 (9:00 AM to 9:00 PM 7 days a week). The complainant will receive a complaint reference number upon successful registration of the blocking request.
Once the phone has been restored, the complainant must follow the same procedure to unlock via CMS and provide their reference number for the complaint along with other mandatory details previously provided to them for locking the mobile phone.

ایل ایس ڈی ایس ایک خودکار نظام ہے اور پی ٹی اے کے ڈیوائس کی شناخت ، رجسٹریشن ، اور بلاکنگ سسٹم (ڈی آئی آر بی ایس) کے ساتھ مربوط ہے۔ چوری شدہ موبائل فون کو ضروری تصدیق کے بعد رپورٹنگ کے 24 گھنٹوں کے اندر بلاک کردیا جائے گا۔
اگر فون بازیافت ہوچکا ہے تو ، شکایت کنندہ کو سی ایم ایس کے ذریعہ بلاک کرنے کے لئے اسی طریقہ کار پر عمل کرنا ہوگا اور ان کے شکایتی حوالہ نمبر کے ساتھ ساتھ دیگر لازمی تفصیلات کا بھی ذکر کرنا ہوگا جو انہیں پہلے موبائل فون کو بند کرنے کے لئے دیا گیا تھا۔
