Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has issued a warning to the public regarding an upcoming power outage in the city. The outage is expected to last for a duration of five days.
Heading 2: Maintenance Work Disrupts Electricity Supply in Peshawar
According to a statement released by PESCO, the interruption in electricity supply is a result of essential maintenance work in various parts of Peshawar. The affected areas include Rahman Baba, Kohat Road, and City Grid Station. The power outage will commence today and continue until July 17th, specifically between the hours of 7 am and 12 pm.
Heading 3: Residents Express Concern over Extended Power Outage
Residents of several areas, such as Hazarkhwani, Yakatoot, Chamkani, and Sherifabad, will endure the inconvenience of being deprived of electricity during this period. Additionally, consumers residing in Nauthia, Bana Marhi, Kohat Road, Soul Quarter, Hashtangri, Gulbahar, Radio Pakistan, Nishtarabad, and Armar will also be affected by the power outage.
Once the maintenance work is completed, PESCO assures the public that the provision of electricity will resume during the specified hours. However, the public has expressed their frustration and distress, as they were already dealing with both scheduled and unscheduled load shedding. The additional power outage due to maintenance work is perceived as an added torment, particularly given the hot weather conditions.
