The meme of Pawri Ho Rahi Hai has found its way across borders. The Uttar Pradesh police used the hashtag #PawriHoRahiHai. UP police tweeted and encouraged people to call them with noise complaints if the neighbors pawri too hard.
Late night #PawriHoRahiHai aur aap disturb ho rahe toh call karein 112 [If there’s a late night party (pawri), and you’re being disturbed, call 112]”
“Ye hum hain aur humari car hai. Agr late night pawri aapko disturb kar rahi hai toh Ye humaara number hai, 112 [This is us and our car. If a late night party is disturbing you, this is our number, 112]”
The State Bank of India jumped on the scene to promote their offers.
“Ye humara app hai, ye humari offers hain, and ye pawwtry ho rahi hai [This is our app, these are our offers, and this is us partying]”
Aside from Pakistani celebrities, even Romanian singer Akcent recreated his rendition of the viral video. Instagram influencer Dananeer Mobeen created the video to troll “Burger”, but became a meme herself.
The meme has been recreated so many times that each rendering is funnier than the other. Until the internet finds a new meme, we’ll have a lot of fun with this one.
