Henley Passport Index Reveals Ranking for Q3 2023
Henley and Partners, a prominent passport guidance organization based in London, has released its latest Henley Passport Index. The ranking is determined by the number of destinations that passport holders can access without requiring a prior visa.
Comparison with Other Passports
For several years now, the Pakistani passport has consistently ranked 100th on the index, indicating limited visa-free access. The only passports ranked worse than Pakistan’s are those of Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan. On the brighter side, passports from countries like Yemen, Somalia, Palestine, Nepal, North Korea, Libya, Kosovo, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh have been positioned higher.
Top and Bottom Performers
Singapore claims the top spot on the index, with Germany, Italy, and Spain following closely behind in second place. The third spot is shared by Austria, Finland, France, Japan, Luxembourg, South Korea, and Sweden.
