The OnePlus 12, although not yet ready for launch, has already been unveiled through a series of intricate CAD renders showcasing its design. Notably, this upcoming device is set to introduce a periscope zoom camera, as previously rumored, which is a first for the OnePlus lineup.
Camera Configuration and Hasselblad Collaboration
The camera module configuration of the OnePlus 12 bears a striking resemblance to its predecessor, the OnePlus 11, with some adjustments to accommodate the new periscope lens. The top “row” of the module consists of the primary and ultra-wide sensors, positioned side by side. In contrast, the periscope camera takes up the entire bottom “row” on its own. Notably, the collaboration with Hasselblad is evident as their logo prominently appears between these camera “rows.”
Display and Internal Specifications
The OnePlus 12 boasts a subtly curved screen, breaking away from previous models like the OnePlus 11. Unlike its predecessor, which featured a left-aligned hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, the OnePlus 12 positions the cutout in the center of the screen. Anticipated to be 6.7 inches in size, the display will utilize a 120Hz 2K OLED panel, offering a visually pleasing experience.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 12 is expected to employ the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which is set to be announced in October. Furthermore, reports indicate that the device will house an impressive 5,000 mAh battery, capable of supporting either 100W or 150W fast wired charging, ensuring a reliable and speedy charging experience.
