Laraib, a female student enrolled at Government College (GC) University Faisalabad, met an unfortunate and untimely demise in a private hostel, under circumstances that remain unclear. The young student’s health deteriorated to a critical state, necessitating the immediate summoning of a rescue team to the hostel premises. Despite their efforts, Laraib did not survive the transfer to Civil Hospital, leaving behind a wave of sorrow and grief.
In another heart-wrenching incident, Shabiran Dahri, a woman residing in a shelter home in Nawabshah, tragically passed away after her health took a turn for the worse during her stay at Darul Aman. According to the police, Shabiran had been placed in the shelter home by court order and had been married twice before. Her alleged husband accused her in-laws of keeping her against her will.
Shabiran’s brother, Ayaz Dahri, made shocking claims that someone within Darul Aman had given his sister a poisonous substance. Ayaz revealed that Shabiran was scheduled to attend a court hearing, but the devastating news of her deteriorating condition reached them while they were at the courthouse. Calling for a thorough judicial investigation, he asserted that Shabiran had been married to a man named Asif Dahri.
