LARKANA – In a significant operation, the Larkana police thwarted an attempt to transport a large quantity of drugs and apprehended two members of an inter-provincial drug dealer group. The authorities seized 80 kilograms of charas and a Toyota Corolla GLI car during the operation.
High-Value Drug Seizure on Ratodero-Larkana Road
According to a police report, acting on a tip-off, the SHO of Ratodero Police Station, along with the police staff, intercepted a Toyota Corolla GLI car from Jacobabad on the Ratodero-Larkana road within Ratodero Police Station’s jurisdiction.
Arrest of Drug Suppliers and Seizure of Fine-Quality Charas
Upon conducting a search of the vehicle, the police discovered 80 kilograms of top-quality charas concealed in hidden compartments. The seized charas holds immense value in the international market, estimated to be worth millions of rupees.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Asadullah s/o Haji Dilbar Achakzai Pathan and Khalilur Rehman s/o Haji Janan Noorozai Pathan, both residents of Quetta. These individuals are believed to be part of a larger inter-provincial drug suppliers group, responsible for transporting drugs from Baluchistan to various districts in Sindh.
The Ratodero Police Station in Larkana district has filed a case against the accused, and investigations are currently underway. In recognition of the successful operation, SSP Larkana Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan has ordered the issuance of an appreciation certificate to the dedicated police party.
